Texture is responsible for processing your data and, as such, determines how your personal data is collected and the purposes for which your data is processed.
The purpose of this information notice is to inform you about how Texture collects, protects, and uses your personal data ("Privacy Policy").
First of all, it is important for you to know that Texture makes every effort to ensure that you can unsubscribe from all our communications as easily as you subscribed.
Every email we send you with marketing or commercial offers always includes an unsubscribe link, which you can use to request removal from the recipient list at any time.
1- Collection of your personal data

2- What personal data do we collect?

Contact Information

Data that you provide to us on certain occasions
When you participate in a survey or contest, we process the data and information you provide us, such as images or videos. When we conduct such a survey, contest, or study, the answers to these questions are always optional, and we ensure that you consent to the processing of this data after we have reminded you why and how we process this data and the security measures implemented for its use, storage, and ultimately its deletion or anonymization.
3- Use of your personal data and legal basis for processing
We use your data for:
Manage your subscription or the services you have subscribed to (events, newsletters, etc.). In this case, the legal basis for processing is the performance of a contract we have entered into with you for the provision of the related service(s).
To offer you content or services that may be of interest to you. In this case, the legal basis for processing is Texture's legitimate interest. This processing purpose allows us to offer you content that is more relevant and likely to interest you based on your user profile characteristics and browsing history.
Responding to your questions or complaints. In this case, processing is based either on compliance with a legal obligation, particularly when we are subject to a legal obligation to respond, or in fulfillment of the contract we have concluded with you.
The advertising featured on our websites and, where applicable, in our newsletters helps to maintain free access to our content for our readers.
Please note that disabling cookies does not prevent advertisements from being displayed; these advertisements will simply be less personalized and relevant to users.
4- Do we share your personal data with third parties?
Service providers. We work with service providers to process your data, under our responsibility, in particular to provide you with the Texture services you have subscribed to and to perform certain tasks on our behalf: analysis, payment processing, marketing, etc. However, these service providers are required not to disclose data and not to use it for any purpose other than that for which we have entrusted it to them. 5- How long do we keep your data?
The retention period for your data may vary depending on the purpose for which it was collected.

Texture attaches particular importance to the protection of your personal data.

We ensure that these security measures are regularly reviewed and we aim for the highest standards in order to implement best practices. Regardless of the seriousness of the protective measures we have put in place, we cannot guarantee absolute protection, particularly in the event of malicious or fraudulent intrusion. If such an event were to occur, we would inform you as soon as possible.

Your data is stored and processed within the European Union. In exceptional circumstances, we may transfer, store, or process your data outside the European Union. In such cases, we take all necessary measures to ensure that these operations are carried out under adequate security conditions and in accordance with European Union data protection legislation.

Our websites may contain links to other websites published by entities other than Texture. As this Privacy Policy applies only to our websites, we recommend that you read the privacy statements of other websites you visit. Texture cannot be held responsible for the policies and practices of other sites regarding the protection of personal data, even if you access these third-party sites by clicking on a link available on one of our sites.

If we have any doubts about the identity of the person making the request or if we encounter any difficulties, we may ask you to send us a photocopy of an identity document to establish your identity. The request must specify the address to which our response should be sent. We will respond within one (1) month of receiving your request.
