Jean Imbert opens "La Forêt Secrète": a magical restaurant at Disneyland Hotel Paris

On March 7, 2025, Jean Imbert will inaugurate his new restaurant, La Forêt Secrète, at the Disneyland Hotel in Paris. This opening will enrich the park's gastronomic offerings, combining refined cuisine with Disney magic.

A concept inspired by Disney stories

Designed as an immersive experience, La Forêt Secrète offers a menu directly inspired by Disney classics. Each dish is a gastronomic interpretation of iconic scenes, where culinary storytelling is as important as taste. Jean Imbert, who has been passionate about this universe since childhood, wants to offer a sensory experience where cuisine becomes an extension of Disney tales and legends.

The menu, which will be available in three or five courses, will showcase seasonal produce and plant-based inspirations, in keeping with the restaurant's decor, which evokes an enchanted forest. The aim is to create cuisine that is both elegant and accessible, true to the chef's values.

An exclusive setting within the Disneyland Hotel

La Forêt Secrète is part of the renovation project for the Disneyland Hotel, which reopened in early 2024 after two years of construction. The five-star establishment now offers 346 rooms and 18 suites, all decorated around the theme of Disney royalty. It aims to strengthen Disneyland Paris's high-end offering and attract customers seeking luxury and exclusive experiences.

With this opening, Jean Imbert adds his name to a large-scale project that goes beyond the simple framework of catering. Disneyland Paris is seeking to enhance its culinary offering, which has long been criticized for its lack of diversity and refinement. The challenge is to bring the dining experience in line with the standards of international luxury hotels.

A chef accustomed to prestigious collaborations

With this project, Jean Imbert continues his exploration of immersive gastronomy, a field he has mastered after his experiences at the Plaza Athénée, the Martinez in Cannes, and aboard the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. Already known for his cinema dinners at the Plaza Athénée, where he offers menus paying homage to classics of the silver screen, the Michelin-starred chef is part of a movement in which cuisine interacts with other disciplines.

For Disneyland Paris, bringing in Jean Imbert is part of a strategy to elevate its culinary offerings. In recent years, the park has stepped up its efforts to modernize its cuisine and appeal to a more discerning clientele, notably with the opening of the restaurant "Bistrot Chez Rémy" and the arrival of other Michelin-starred chefs to revamp certain menus.

Unlike other restaurants in the park, La Forêt Secrète will not be reserved exclusively for Disneyland Paris visitors, but will be open to the public by reservation. This decision allows the restaurant to cater to a wider audience, including food lovers who may not necessarily be visiting the park.
