Carpisa Sets Sights on India Alongside Neopolis Brands

Italian flagship brand Carpisa enters the Indian market with bold ambitions

The Italian leather goods brand continues its global expansion. Carpisa, an iconic brand managed by Kuvera (a Pianoforte Holding Group company), has just officially entered the Indian market. In Bangalore, at the heart of the prestigious Phoenix Market City Mall in Whitefield, the brand has opened its first brick-and-mortar store, marking the beginning of what promises to be a rapid expansion across the subcontinent.

A Strategic Partnership for Massive Expansion

To navigate this foray into a market as complex as it is promising, Carpisa has partnered with the local platform Neopolis Brands through a long-term licensing agreement. The stated goal is nothing short of ambitious: the development plan calls for the opening of more than 100 stores across the country in the coming years. Maurizio Carlino, Carpisa’s CEO, sees India as a “key pillar” of the brand’s international growth strategy. In his view, the exceptional dynamism and rapid evolution of Indian consumer habits offer significant potential for success for the brand’s Italian standards.

An omnichannel strategy to win over new consumers

Carpisa’s arrival is not limited to a mere physical presence. In Bangalore, a true hub for technology and fashion, the brand is rolling out a comprehensive retail ecosystem. In addition to the flagship store, “shop-in-shop” formats in Bannerghatta and a pop-up store at the Brigade Orion Mall in Rajajinagar are strengthening this initial network. To support this national ambition, Carpisa is simultaneously leveraging a strong digital presence. The collections are available not only on the brand’s dedicated website but also on major Indian e-commerce platforms such as Myntra, Nykaa, and Tata Cliq, ensuring immediate visibility among a connected and discerning customer base.
