Moorer: Italian Elegance Sets Out to Conquer America

Moorer, the Italian luxury outerwear specialist, is taking a decisive step in its global expansion by setting its sights on the North American market. Under the leadership of its founder and creative director, Moreno Faccincani, the Verona-based brand has just opened its first directly operated flagship store in the United States, right in the heart of Manhattan. Located in the prestigious Meatpacking District, this 260-square-meter showcase features eleven monumental display windows, standing proudly alongside iconic brands such as Hermès, Brunello Cucinelli, and Bottega Veneta.

This New York expansion is just the first step in a broader rollout. Starting in September, Moorer will open a store in Miami, within the expansion of Bal Harbour Shops, one of the world’s most exclusive shopping destinations. This new 400-square-meter space will strengthen the brand’s physical presence in a strategic geographic area that complements the vibrancy of New York City.

An Omnichannel Strategy to Drive Growth

While its physical presence is expanding, Moorer is also building on a strong digital performance. By 2025, the United States had established itself as the brand’s second-largest market for online sales, just behind Germany, generating 14% of global e-commerce revenue. To capitalize on this momentum, the brand plans to launch a new digital platform designed to streamline the customer experience through enhanced omnichannel integration.

In addition to its own stores, the brand continues to rely on an elite wholesale distribution network. Moorer is already firmly established in American luxury retail icons such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, and Nordstrom, while also being carried in approximately 600 multi-brand retail locations worldwide.

Setting Sights on 2028: Paris, London, and Munich in the Crosshairs

Moreno Faccincani’s ambition extends beyond U.S. borders. The success of 2025 and the growing demand for pieces that combine technical expertise with timeless refinement are driving the brand to set its sights on major global capitals. “Our international customers are increasingly focused on the quality of materials and a contemporary elegance that doesn’t succumb to fleeting trends,” emphasizes the CEO.

After opening strategic locations in Tokyo (Ginza), Prague, Kyiv, Cortina d’Ampezzo, and Rome, Moorer recently revamped its presence in Milan. The brand has moved from Via Montenapoleone to a 1,000-square-meter, two-story flagship store on Corso Venezia, overlooking Piazza San Babila. Looking ahead, the roadmap is clear: to strengthen its presence in Japan with a second store and, by 2028, establish a presence in key European fashion hubs, with priority openings in Paris, London, and Munich.
