Johnny Dufort captures the timeless charm of Rome juxtaposed with Valentino Garavani’s new “Rockstud” collection. Directed by Shayne Laverdiere, the brand’s campaign comes to life in a monumental setting where marble and water interact.
A reinterpretation by Alessandro Michele
Creative Director Alessandro Michele reinterprets one of the Roman house’s most recognizable icons, reimagined for the Valentino Pre-Fall 2026 collection. First presented at the Fall-Winter 2010-2011 runway show, these shoes make a grand return with a decidedly contemporary aesthetic. Alessandro Michele reimagines the famous “cage” construction through tapered lines, sculpted toes accented with a platinum finish, and red insoles.
Available in two versions, with 100 mm and 40 mm heels, the shoes come in a wide color palette, ranging from neutral tones to the brightest hues, such as vibrant green and light blue. Strappy sandals and ballet flats round out this new collection.
A stroll through the heart of Valentino’s identity
The new pumps are captured during a stroll, “guided by an instinctive search for eternal beauty and imbued with a sense of bold elegance and discreet sensuality, the true hallmarks of the house,” explains the fashion label.
“In a perfect balance between strength and lightness, structure and fluidity, the campaign presents the ‘Rockstud’ as the living expression of the House’s identity: an icon that continues to evolve, reinventing its incomparable codes while remaining deeply rooted in its origins.”
