Heading to Shanghai for the Resort 2027 Collection
Max Mara is heading to China. The brand, part of the eponymous group, has announced that the runway show for its Resort 2027 collection will take place at the Long Museum West Bund in Shanghai on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. This event will also mark the opening of an exhibition curated by Olivier Saillard, running from June 17 to 28, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Max Mara fashion house.
The brand is leaving Europe after a tour of historic venues
Last year, the house chose the Palace of Caserta. For this new edition, the label is therefore leaving Europe, which has served as the natural backdrop for its fashion shows in recent years: the Resort 2022 collection was presented in Ischia, the 2023 collection at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon, the 2024 collection at Stockholm City Hall, the 2025 collection at the Doge’s Palace in Venice, and the famous 2026 collection at the Palace of Caserta.
