Viktor&Rolf in Milan: A Spectral Immersion in the Art of Haute Couture

The Dutch duo Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren are set to transform the 10 Corso Como gallery into a sanctuary of conceptual fashion. From September 25 to November 22, 2026, the exhibition “Viktor&Rolf; Spectrum” will mark a historic milestone: the very first solo retrospective dedicated to the designers in Italy. This announcement, which places Milan firmly in the avant-garde spotlight, comes shortly before another major celebration scheduled at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris in early 2027.

Far from a traditional chronological narrative, the Milan installation invites visitors on a journey through a selection of twenty iconic haute couture silhouettes. These pieces, drawn from more than thirty years of design at the OTB Group-affiliated fashion house, interact with one another to reveal the obsessive themes, metamorphoses, and continuity of a style that defies fashion conventions.

Fashion as a Cultural Language

Defining themselves as “fashion artists,” Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren have always viewed couture as a realm of pure experimentation, where concept often takes precedence over the product. Their work, which is already featured in the prestigious archives of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, is showcased here to highlight the intellectual dimension of their approach. According to the designers, each season is an opportunity to explore the very structure of fashion from a fresh perspective, making their work a laboratory of constantly evolving ideas.

“Our work is like a laboratory, a place where we experiment and develop ideas,” explain the designers. For them, “Spectrum” represents the range of perspectives they have accumulated on their eternal subject of fascination: fashion and its codes.

A New Chapter for 10 Corso Como

Driven by the vision of Tiziana Fausti, this exhibition is part of the renowned Milanese concept store’s strategy for renewal. As 10 Corso Como celebrates its thirty-fifth anniversary, the space reaffirms itself as a hub dedicated to contemporary forms of expression. Curated by Alessio de Navasques, a professor at La Sapienza University in Rome and director of the venue’s cultural program, “Viktor&Rolf; Spectrum” promises a powerful visual experience that is free and open to the public.

This Milanese event will be just the prelude to a banner year for the brand, as the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris will take the reins from January 28 to July 4, 2027, confirming the duo’s indelible influence on the global heritage of fashion and luxury.
